Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, I am grateful to call Brighton home for more than 20 years, where my wife, Patricia Scanlon, and I are raising our two children and remain deeply connected to the community.
I hold a degree in Marine Biology and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. My professional background includes several years of experience in environmental project management of mining and port operations in Latin America as well as with the largest remediation project in the Canadian Arctic.
My journey into real estate began as an investor. Shortly after immigrating to Canada in 2002, Patricia and I began to build a real estate investment portfolio, giving us first-hand insight into property value, market cycles, and long-term strategy. In 2010, I became a full-time licensed Realtor®, combining my investment experience with a strong appreciation for the long-term impact that real estate decisions have on clients and families. My background has been invaluable when working with site-specific considerations such as waterfront and rural properties that share systems such as wells and septics.
Today, I help clients position their homes effectively for sale, negotiate strategically, and navigate market conditions with clarity. My work has been recognized with a number of awards, including the Royal LePage Top Tier Award, Director’s Platinum Award, and Diamond Award.
